The Aerowest Joint Venture (a joint venture between Seymour Whyte Construction and BMD Constructions) has been awarded the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport Landside Project in NSW, Australia. The package of works involves designing and constructing of carparks, roads, bridges, utility connections, operational buildings, and landscaping.

About the role:
- Implement, monitor, and upgrade contract survey instructions.
- Help plan for surveying on sections of projects, including economic and financial management.
- Undertake the survey required to control the location and quality of engineering developments throughout a project.
- Carry out site set-out on earthworks, highway, structural, and utility contracts.
- Set up of equipment for survey use, creation of digital models for GNSS and machine control.
- Document, maintain, test, calibrate (where possible) and store survey equipment.
skills and experience:
- Hold a minimum of a diploma in Engineering Surveying or recognised equivalent formal qualification from a recognised institution.
- 3+ Years of experience in a Survey role on civil construction projects
- Demonstrated practical experience in surveying, with emphasis on experience in the civil construction industry.
- Competency across various computing programs and software platforms as required for the role.
- Ability to create and maintain data systems including for design changes, ‘as built’ records and calibration records.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Current C-Class Driver’s License
