IU(industrialization unit) Ericsson Connected Machine Vision (ECMV) is an industrialization unit at Ericsson ONE, the internal incubator and accelerator. Its product is a revolutionary software platform that enables an easy to use, cost efficient and highly flexible machine vision solution for the manufacturing industry. It uses cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) to support multiple cameras and multiple use cases through a single system – making this solution easy to scale and meet the specific needs of multiple production lines and factories.
We are looking for a visionary and seasoned entrepreneur to manage the product development and commercialization of ECMV in global market.

What you will do
- Report to Head of Ericsson ONE and work closely with ONE Leadership Team.
- Manage the internal startup team to ensure a successful commercial launch of the product and get it ready for scale up in targeted market.
- Actively coach and inspire the startup team in pursuing business success with integrity and compliances.
- Leverage your industry experience to guide the startup team in product packaging, service solution, business development, and customer engagement.
- Set up an effective business plan and strategy with OKRs.
- Be an effective conduit between the startup team and Ericsson ONE leadership with respect to issues, challenges, successes, and opportunities.
- Develop an investment thesis for next step fund raising internally and/or externally.
You will bring
- Sound academic background in engineering, with MBA from a top business school an ideal.
- 8+ years of experience with leadership position in major industrial software company in smart-manufacturing. Successful startup experience will be an advantage.
- Deep industrial domain knowledge in machine vision solution is strongly desired.
- Corporate innovation, strategy and/or new business creation with previous hands-on experience in product management and/or business development etc.
- Ability to think strategically and implement tactically in a start-up environment.
- Passion in solving problems and making good impact.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills.
- International work experience preferred. Fluent or native in English. Bi-lingual in Chinese is a strong plus.
